REGRAS E /OBRIGAÇÕES - T.I.F.A – TIETÊ INTERNACIONAL FILM AWARDS
I - Todos os filmes não falados em inglês DEVEM ter legendas em inglês.
II - Todas as taxas de inscrição não são reembolsáveis. O responsável pela inscrição DEVE inscrever seu projeto na categoria correta, caso contrário, sua submissão será invalidada.
III - Várias entradas do mesmo remetente serão aceitas, com envio separado e taxa de inscrição separada que acompanhará cada entrada. Porém, em entradas repetidas de um mesmo projeto, apenas a última entrada será considerada.
IV - As decisões do comitê de seleção do festival e do júri serão finais e incontestáveis.
V - A comissão se reserva o direito de NÃO SELECIONAR projetos com conteúdos possivelmente ofensivos e de caráter discriminatório.
VI - Os filmes enviados DEVEM SER o trabalho original do participante e NÃO DEVEM violar direitos autorais ou quaisquer outros direitos de terceiros. Os participantes concordam que obtiveram todas as permissões de direitos autorais necessárias, relacionadas a músicas, sons, imagens e etc. apresentados em seus filmes. Portanto, os cineastas DEVEM ter todos os direitos associados a seus filmes, permitindo assim que o "T.I.F.A" use clipes para fins publicitários, incluindo o upload de clipes, trailer, pôster e imagens online.
VII - Ao enviar seu projeto para o “T.I.F.A”, você permite que o nosso Festival use materiais impressos do filme (como fotos, pôsteres, trailers e clipes) para fins promocionais em nosso site e mídia social. Portanto, todos os filmes selecionados para o Festival concedem ao “T.I.F.A” o direito de usar os materiais impressos dos filmes para fins promocionais.
VIII - O ônus de obter direitos autorais e todos os interesses de propriedade do material enviado depende exclusivamente do solicitante.
IX - Os organizadores do T.I.F.A – Tietê Internacional Film Awards se reservam ao direito de alterar, cancelar ou reprogramar as datas, prêmios e categorias de premiação sem consentimento ou informações prévias aos participantes, além de ter total autonomia para seleção de júri, sendo fixo ou não.
X. Os organizadores se reservam ao direito de não conceder nenhum ou todos os prêmios.
XI. Formato da competição:
Os projetos inscritos nas competições bimestrais podem ser selecionados e indicados. Os filmes indicados que vencerem a competição bimestral receberão "Menções Honrosas". Os vencedores das Menções Honrosas serão os filmes apresentados no festival e terão direito a concorrer na competição final, tornando-se FINALISTAS no final do ano. Assim podendo concorrer à Capivara de Ouro, podendo se tornar os vencedores do prêmio do ano.
A competição final será feita entre as Menções Honrosas nas competições bimestrais.
As inscrições que não forem desqualificadas ou não-selecionadas pelo comitê de seleção e júri (ou seja, filmes que tenham o status de julgamento de Indeciso) terão a chance de continuar na disputa e competir em outras competições bimestrais.
XII. Nós, como organizadores do festival, entendemos que:
A) Longas-metragens são filmes com 60 minutos de duração e acima.
B) Curtas-metragens são filmes com mais de 2 minutos e menos de 59 minutos de duração.
XIII. Nós aceitaremos apenas filmes inscritos nas categorias corretas:
A) Categoria Longas Metragens: Filmes narrativos ficcionais, documentais e de animação.
B) Curta Metragem narrativos ficcionais e de animação.
C) Curta Metragem documental.
D) Curtas Metragem experimental.
XIV. Os filmes inscritos vão ser avaliados e podem concorrer nas seguintes categorias:
A) Melhor Filme.
B) Melhor Direção.
C) Melhor Fotografia.
D) Melhor direção de arte.
E) Melhor design de Som.
F) Melhor Roteiro.
G) Melhor Montagem.
H) Melhor Atriz Principal.
I) Melhor Ator Principal.
J) Melhor Atriz coadjuvante.
K) Melhor Ator coadjuvante.
XV. "T.I.F.A" não publicará o filme completo online sem a permissão do detentor do projeto. Se o cineasta decidir não exibir filmes online, exibiremos o curta em particular apenas para o Júri do Festival. Todos os filmes privados serão igualmente qualificados para todos os prêmios.
XVI. Não exigimos status de estreia.
XVII. O filme deve ser enviado na categoria correta, caso contrário será desqualificado assim que avaliado.
XVIII. Cineastas que optarem por inscrever o filme como Estudante, devem comprovar com "Student ID" sua situação. Caso não haja comprovação, o filme será desclassificado, sem direito a reembolso.
DIREITOS AUTORAIS
Ao enviar seu filme para o nosso festival, você concorda que seu projeto (filme completo, trailer) pode ser carregado e/ou incorporado em nosso site. O cineasta e/ou produtora que está enviando o filme deve possuir os direitos de fazê-lo e é responsável pelo conteúdo que está fornecendo. Ao enviar, o cineasta permite que o “T.I.F.A” crie uma página para o filme em seu website e em suas redes sociais, sem violar quaisquer direitos autorais. Os cineastas podem fazer uma solicitação por e-mail para remover o link do filme do website do Festival a qualquer momento.
AVISO LEGAL
O solicitante concorda em ter lido e aceito as regras e regulamentos para participação no “T.I.F.A – Tietê Internacional Film Awards”.
O requerente confirma que possui a autoridade necessária ou obteve a autoridade necessária do produtor e/ou titular do direito para inscrever este filme no "T.I.F.A" e disponibilizar a impressão para exibição. Sob nenhuma circunstância, as autoridades do “T.I.F.A” não receberão nem responderão a ninguém além do solicitante.
NOTIFICAÇÕES
Após a seleção de um filme para a competição, o cineasta é notificado apenas por e-mail. Os filmes selecionados serão publicados no site do festival e nas redes sociais do “T.I.F.A”. Todos os filmes selecionados e/ou indicados para a competição serão informados apenas por e-mail e listados no site do festival. Nenhuma pergunta ou argumento será recebido com relação a filmes não selecionados. A decisão do comitê de seleção será final e incontestável.
RULES AND OBLIGATIONS - T.I.F.A – TIETÊ INTERNACIONAL FILM AWARDS
I - All movies not spoken in English MUST have English subtitles.
II - All entry fees are non-refundable. The submitter MUST enter their project in the correct category, otherwise their submission will be invalid.
III - Multiple entries from the same submitter will be accepted, with separate submission and separate entry fee accompanying each entry. However, in repeated entries from the same project, only the last entry will be considered.
IV - The decisions of the festival selection committee and jury will be final and unquestionable.
V - The committee reserves the right to NOT SELECT projects with possibly offensive or discriminatory content.
VI - The submitted films MUST be the original work of the submitter and MUST NOT violate copyright or any other third party rights. Entrants agree that they have obtained all necessary copyright permissions related to the music, sounds, images, etc. featured in their films. Therefore, filmmakers MUST have all rights associated with their films, thus allowing "T.I.F.A" to use clips for publicity purposes, including uploading clips, trailer, poster and images online.
VII - By submitting your project to "T.I.F.A", you allow our Festival to use printed materials of the film (such as photos, posters, trailers and clips) for promotional purposes on our website and social media. Therefore, all films selected for the Festival grant “T.I.F.A” the right to use the printed materials of the films for promotional purposes.
VIII - The burden of obtaining copyrights and all ownership interests in the submitted material rests solely with the applicant.
IX - The organizers of the T.I.F.A - Tietê International Film Awards reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule dates, awards, and award categories without prior consent or information to the participants, besides having total autonomy to select the jury, whether fixed or not.
X. The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all prizes.
XI. Competition format:
The projects entered in the bi-monthly competitions can become selected and nominated. The nominated films that win the bi-monthly competition will get "Honorable Mentions". The winners of Honorable Mentions will be the films featured in the festival and will have the right to compete in the final competition, becoming FINALISTS at the end of the year. Thus being able to compete for the Golden Capybara, being able to become the award winners of the year.
The final competition will be made between those Honorable Mentions in the bi-monthly competitions.
Entries that are not disqualified or not-selected by the selection committee and jury (i.e. films that has the judging status of Undecided) will have the chance to continue in the dispute and compete in other bi-monthly competitions.
XII. We, as organizers of the festival, understand that:
A) Feature films are films 60 minutes in length and above.
B) Short films are films over 2 minutes and under 59 minutes long.
XIII. We will accept only films submitted in the correct categories:
A) Feature Film Category: narrative fictional, documentary and animation films.
B) Short Film Category: Narrative fiction and animation films.
C) Documentary Short Film.
D) Experimental Short Film.
XIV. The films submitted will be evaluated and may compete in the following categories:
A) Best Film.
B) Best Directing.
C) Best Cinematography.
D) Best Production Design.
E) Best Sound Design.
F) Best Screenplay.
G) Best Editing.
H) Best Leading Actress.
I) Best Leading Actor.
J) Best Supporting Actress.
K) Best Supporting Actor.
XV. "T.I.F.A" will not publish the completed film online without the permission of the project holder. If the filmmaker decides not to screen films online, we will screen the particular short film for the Festival Jury only. All private films will be equally eligible for all awards.
XVI. Premiere status is not mandatory.
XVII. The film must be submitted in the correct category, otherwise it will be disqualified once evaluated.
XVIII. Filmmakers who choose to submit the film as a Student must prove their situation with a "Student ID". If there is no proof, the film will be disqualified, with no refund.
COPYRIGHT
By submitting your film to our festival, you agree that your project (full-length film, trailer) may be uploaded and/or embedded on our website. The filmmaker and/or production company that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows "T.I.F.A" to create a page for the film on their website and social media without violating any copyrights. Filmmakers can make an email request to remove the film link from the Festival's website at any time.
LEGAL WARNING
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules and regulations for participation in the "T.I.F.A - Tietê Internacional Film Awards".
The applicant confirms that he/she has the necessary authority or has obtained the necessary authority from the producer and/or rights holder to enter this film in "T.I.F.A" and make the print available for exhibition. Under no circumstances will the "T.I.F.A" authorities receive or respond to anyone other than the applicant.
NOTIFICATIONS
After a film is selected for the competition, the filmmaker is notified only by e-mail. Selected films will be published on the festival's website and on the "T.I.F.A" social networks. All films selected and/or nominated for the competition will be informed by e-mail only and listed on the festival website. No questions or arguments will be received regarding films not selected. The selection committee's decision will be final and unquestionable.
